Ahoy there, Mateys! Come join our Pirate Festival Performance Class and set sail on a thrilling adventure! This unique opportunity allows students to experience the world of pirates by learning several performances especially choreographed to pirate-themed music.
Any brave boys or girls out there want to learn stage fighting? Come master how to swing that foam sword with style! (ok, ok… adults can join too) Pirates-in-training will rehearse three times each week (T, TH, SA), with sessions from 2:30-3:15pm (ages 6-9) OR 3:15-4pm (ages 10+). Dancers will master dynamic choreography, build performance skills and stage presence, and work together to create a captivating 30-minute show complete with dazzling custom costumes!
The grand finale will take place at the Brookings Pirate Festival during the weekend of August 8-10 (2 shows each day), where our students will dazzle the audience with their pirate-themed performances. This is a fantastic chance for dancers and performers to enhance their abilities, make new friends, and experience the excitement of showing off at a community event.
