We are building a stage and auditorium so we can do our Christmas Show HERE at the Oregon Coast Dance studio!

We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming SeaSpray Center for Arts and Education (www.SeaSprayCenter.org) — a beautiful new Performing Arts Theater and Event Center brought to you by Oregon Coast Youth Project (www.OregonCoastYouth.org) in partnership with Oregon Coast Dance! 

This new community hub will host performances, concerts, open mics, workshops, and celebrations — right here in Brookings! Stay tuned for all the exciting details we’re going to be sharing the next few days. Eeek!

There will be a men’s and women’s bathroom, along with a cast bathroom, a drinking fountain (with bottle filler), a backstage area behind our building, a breakroom/concessions stand, a merchandise/gift area, a 34×22 foot stage complete with wings, curtains, lighting, sound, and (of course) audience seating for 150-200 of your kiddo’s raving fans!

If all that sounds amazing, we’re with you! It will be! But, it’s also expensive…

We know the project is worth it as it will give our dancers a way to practice on the same stage they’ll be performing on, plus it will open up many options for other ways to use the venue and fundraise for all our kiddos.

In order to help cover some of the costs for the project, we’re joining forces with a group called Launch Fundraising to put on an amazing (and delicious) popcorn fundraiser just in time for everyone to buy Christmas gifts. Who doesn’t love popcorn?

Even your out of the area friends and family can support your goal and place an order through the website, they just have a small shipping charge.

This stuff is really tasty and the company gives 50% of all the funds raised right back to the kids! Wow!!
